Highly recommend as a step up to internal speakers. Highly recommend Redragon as a company that stands behind their product.

When turning the speakers on/off, the left one plays the power sound, but then only the right speaker plays any of the actual sound from my pc. Unsure why

After two days these speakers just quit working. Getting tech support that actually addresses the problem is a side gig--way more work that one would expect. Numerous emails, no solutions.
Give the dysfunction of both the speaker and the tech support, go elsewhere unless you want to buy yourself a problem.

I hooked them up with the AC cable and thought they sounded like rubbish but I connected the Bluetooth and I was pleasantly surprised.

Arrived in a Redragon shiny black box with some artsy cover. The GS814 is what this model is called, but the box says that it's called "Connie". Inside are some stickers and necessary cables sandwiched in packaging foam.

Now for the verdict. It sounds great and it's what you would expect for all-around daily usage, but think a notch above that. They're better than generic speakers and pack a decent punch being rated at 20 watts. Bass quality is surprisingly good, but keep in mind of its 2-satellite package and its plastic housing. Better than built-in TV speakers. Sound quality's not that hollow, but what do you expect.

Speaker to speaker cable length is generous. RGB lighting is simple and adds to the ambiance if you're into that sort of thing. I ordered this because of its bluetooth. And BT works as expected without loss of quality that I noticed.

My only nitpick is the short power adapter cable. Would be nice if it came with a remote.
